    The collision energy was almost completely absorbed within the engine compartment. There was deformation in the footwell area of both driver and passenger, however, deformation on the passenger's seat side was comparatively big.
    A fused belt waist buckling seat belt system was employed for both seats; therefore, the forward movement of the dummy's waist upon impact was significant.
    The steering column fell off upon impact.
